The Record Neutrino That Might Have Come From a Black Hole in Another Dimension
In February 2023, a detector on the Mediterranean seabed caught the most energetic neutrino ever recorded. A September 2026 paper in Physical Review D proposes that it came from an exploding black hole partly hidden in a fifth dimension. Other physicists call that a lot to hang on one particle.
