Paranormal investigator Lottie Pschenyckyj filmed inside a 270-year-old Cheshire farmhouse with a local haunted reputation in November 2025. When she reviewed the footage later, she says she found a fast-moving dark shadow that appears to dart away from her, along with what she describes as running footsteps.

The clip was distributed by the SWNS agency and appeared on Yahoo News around 26 October 2026 under the title “‘Ghost’ captured running away from woman at haunted farmhouse.” The Daily Express and Coast to Coast AM (28 October) picked it up from there.

Footage and evidence

The clip was filmed in November 2025 by paranormal investigator Lottie Pschenyckyj, a customer service worker from near Chester, during an overnight investigation at a reportedly haunted Cheshire farmhouse with her friend George, 41. They set up a sound recorder, motion detectors and video cameras.

During the session the pair heard a loud bang. When Pschenyckyj reviewed the footage a month later she spotted what looks like a fast-moving dark shadow, and on slowing the video down she heard what she describes as running footsteps along with it. The agency video distributed by SWNS runs 46 seconds. “A lot of people talk about that place being haunted, but I’ve actually captured it,” she said.
