1. Champ? Drone Footage From a Kids’ Film Shoot Goes Viral (Bigfoot & Cryptids)

- The Adirondack Explorer reported on 12 June that drone footage shot during the making of the children’s film “Lucy and the Lake Monster” seemed to show a large shape in Lake Champlain, with an 11-foot rowboat in frame for scale.
- Grades: Drone footage shows a large shape near a rowboat: CREDIBLE; It shows Champ: UNVERIFIED; TV producers called it compelling: CREDIBLE
- Mundane explanation: From above, logs, wave patterns, weed mats, schools of fish or a big sturgeon (Champlain has lake sturgeon) can all look like a monster.
